Blue Mountains Writers' Festival

The inaugural Blue Mountains Writers' Festival is a celebration on place, writers, writing and reading. The festival offers something for everyone from author talks to book launches and everything in between and might just be perfect for you.
With a welcoming setting and a bold, playful literary focus, the Blue Mountains Writers' Festival has been established by Varuna, The Writers House to celebrate the unique qualities of the Blue Mountains environment, including our spectacular physical surroundings and our talented artisitic community.
The festival will be held across several venues, including here at the iconic Carrington, The BM Cultural Centre and Library and Varund House itself. Events include author talks, panel presentations, a Lierary Dinner with Kerry O'Brien, book clubs, launches, childrens events, writing workshops and musical events.
